Say the following phrases to insert symbols (the words will be replaced with the actual symbol):

• "close parenthesis" or "close parentheses" → )
• "open bracket" → [
• "close bracket" or "closed bracket" → ]

• "close brace" → }
• "colon" → :
• "semicolon" → ;
• "dash" or "hyphen" → -
• "quote" → "
• "single quote" → '
